The partnership between Cardiff University, the University of Glamorgan and South Wales Police was designed to deliver integrated, research, training and practice.
In participating in this innovative new venture, the intention is that the work of the Institute should be of direct benefit to the people of South Wales and across the region by improving the effectiveness of the policing services. To assist UPSI in its mission it’s work is overseen by a Management Group and Strategy Group, with representatives from all three institutions included in the membership for both groups.
